Though it seems impossible to attain, your magazine gets even better with
each issue. You have brought a level of writing and interest that was
clearly needed in the greater Houston area.
As President of the Magnolia Area Chamber, I especially appreciate the
working relationship we have with you and your staff and the fact that you
have helped to focus on the work of the Chamber to promote the area, support
the businesses and improve the quality of life of the community as a whole.
You have also featured several businesses in the area, headlining their
special characteristics and widening their customer base.
Your magazine provides creative glimpses of
life north of Houston using outstanding writing skills and appealing
pictures and graphics.
Thanks for taking a risk to achieve your goals, setting a model for the rest
of the residents and businesses!

Dear Crystal and Howie:
I just had to write to thank you for including my articles in (your) magazine. After each of
the past two issues, we received numerous requests for the "11 Things" lists, plus several people
inquired about our coaching program. Lots of our friends also told us they read the articles; for
instance, last week at a church function, three people approached me in a span of five minutes
and mentioned them.
One thing clearly evident in my conversations is your audience reads the magazine from cover
to cover. Plus, everyone said how much they look forward to receiving it each month. What a terrific
comment about the value of (this) magazine in our community.
Congratulations on creating something so wonderful.
Continued success!

Dear Crystal and Howie:
I wanted to say thank you for all you have done for my business over the last year.
As you know, I have spent thousands of dollars in advertising over the past 30 years
through the businesses I have owned, and I have found that since we started advertising
with That! Texas Magazine, we have actually saved money! It has cost our business less
to advertise with you because your magazine is read by so many people and stays around
for so long, resulting in a lower cost per customer.
With our written survey that we use to find out where our customers are coming from,
we have discovered that your magazine ranks number one out of all the advertising that
we do! Because of this, and because you have been so easy to work with, I want you to
know that we feel extremely positive about our experience with That! Texas Magazine.
For more than two years, we haven't missed one single issue.
We are looking forward to a lasting, prosperous business relationship with
That! Texas Magazine for many years to come.
Sincerely,
Grace Young

Dear Crystal and Howie:
Enclosed with this letter is an advertising contract for the remainder of 2004 and the
first issue of 2005. As you know, this is the third year in which we have advertised in
(your) magazine. We are proud to be one of your charter advertisers. We continue to advertise
in your company because of the success we have had from that advertising.
In 2003, we sold at least 4 lots at Wildwood Shores Subdivision, the sales of which are
directly attributable to the advertising we placed in CountryStyle, TX Magazine. The sales
volume from those transactions exceed $160,000.00. Advertising in your magazine certainly
paid off for us in 2003 and we have every expectation that it will continue to do so for us.
I want to personally thank they two of you for the interest you have shown in our company
and in our subdivision. I thank you for your professionalism and commitment to excellence.
Mostly, thank you for creating a quality publication. I appreciate the stances each of you
take in your editorials, for focusing on the the strength of local communities and for reminding
all of us about the amazing talent of Billy Joe Shaver.
I look forward to many more years of working with the two of you.
Respectfully,
Richard C. Jennings
